Winter Clothes

Here we are at the Jones Farm. The girls are avoiding Mom and I since we are trying clothes on them and then deciding how to hem them, or take them in, or keep them for next year. Dahlia was a little worried when I was shortening the sleeves on a shirt. She was afraid that I was going to cut off her fingers. Mom made sure that I didn't. (dahlia wants me to change colors) Purple is a great color to type in. AS a matter of fact I hemmed a pair of purple pants for Dahlia. They were stirrup pants, that were just a tad too long. So we cut out the stirrups, and made them flat on the bottoms.

Dahlia wants to type so here she goes:

DAHLIA dog i love you family. acer microsoft papermate (dahlia is typing the things she sees on the computer or on the desk top for the last 3 words).

Now her highness is wanting to play a game on the computer so we are off to do that instead. Have fun. Can't wait to see you all at Thanksgiving!!

Halloween 2008

2 sweet little fairies. Hyper, sugared up fairies. Funny things is when we went to go trick-or-treating later that night, the girls refused. They said they had enough candy, and they didn't want to go out. Sweet!!

Bobbie's skirt turned out better then Dahlia's. Dahlia's kept sliding up, and moving around. So it looked good for a few minutes and then she would sit or wiggle, and it would ride up. Bobbie kept pushing the tulle toward the back, so it ended up looking a little different, but she was happy so that is what counts.

Who ever said wings were a good idea, let alone 3 sets of wings, is crazy!! We went through 2 sets of torn wings (luckily the girls wings came from the dollar store). Mine kept getting hooked on things. the girls loved this as I would usually stop abruptly and let out a squeak.
The girls' tiaras kept sliding off. Bobbie finally refused to were hers shortly after this picture. This picture is at their daycare party. It was really cute. About 10 sets of parents came, and the kids paraded around so we could take pictures. They played music and the kids danced. The older kids had a mildly choreographed dance. They younger kids mostly bopped around and spun a lot. There was a teacher (Bobbie's teacher) that sang 2 songs in Spanish. Man did she have serious volume!! It was very beautiful sounding. Then they handed out cookies, and balloons, as well as the goodie bags.
