Bobbie and I had a conversation this morning that I am still laughing about.
Bobbie: I want more marshmallows.
Mommy: You already at 2 cup fulls.
Bobbie: I like marshmallows.
Mommy: But if you eat more you'll explode.
Bobbie: No I won't, I'll poop them out my bum.
Mommy: . . . . . . . . . . Umm, no. No more marshmallows.
Bobbie: Really Mommy, I will poop them out and be okay. Please!!
At this point I am laughing so hard I can't even finish talking to Bobbie. It's hard to argue with logic like that. She was technically right, but I was not about to get into a conversation about food, and the movement into the body, and out of the body.
The choice of "You'll explode" is because Dahlia told Bobbie and I she would explode if she ate anymore food a few minutes earlier.
I love kids!!!

Where did January Go??
I am not exactly sure where January went. But it sure went fast.
The girls started Tumbling Class, and Combo Dance Class thanks to Uncle Edward.
Here they are one first day of Tumbling & Dance Class. They tried on their new dance clothes (Thank you Uncle Edward) the night before and I practically had to pry them out of their outfits. They loved the class. Went right in and laughed and giggled through it all. Dahlia woke up the next morning and refused to get out of bed. She said she wasn't getting up until it was Wednesday again. She wanted to go to dance class again. (THANK YOU Uncle Edward!!)
Here is a picture of Donna (former mother in law), Myself, Dahlia and Bobbie at Walking with Dinosaurs, the Live Experience. It took a little convincing to explain to the girls that even though the Dinosaurs looked real, that they were actually just really big puppets. Really Really Big Puppets. It was at the Delta Center (just like BYU Idaho will always be Ricks, the Energy Solutions Arena will always be the Delta Center). To get the company discount I had to go through Ticketmaster. To get Donna's wheelchair access seat I had to go through a bit of a process. But let me tell you it was totally worth it. First the girls love to do things with Doug and Donna (though Doug did not come this time). Second the wheelchair access seats totally rock!! We were sitting at the very front of the second tier up. Donna rolled up to the railing, and they put up cushy folding chairs for the girls and I. We were able to scoot the chairs together, and the girls could trade laps as needed.
The girls enjoying Hot Chocolate at the Jones Farm in December (2008). They both love mini marshmellows, and love any occasion that calls for them. they will even eat them straight up (ugh!!). They also displayed their skill as sweet talking adults into giving them squirts of the spray-can whipped cream. I am pretty sure the consumed more of the whipped cream, and mini marshmellows then actual hot chocolate.
Here is Grandpa Jones pulling the girls around on their new sled. It was about 8 dgrees that morning so Mon and I are standing at the kitchen window taking pictures. On Christams day it blew so hard that Mom's wind chimes, hanging from the backyard tree) were almost straight horizontal. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday the tempurate barely reached double digits. Finally we bundled the girls and sent them out with Grandpa on his way to feed the cows.
I forgot to warn Mom and she got a big shock when Bobbie came running into the garage when we got there for Christmas. See in December the girls and I learned a big lesson. Me, I learned not to issue a threat I was not willing to follow thru on. Dahlia and Bobbie, learned Mommy is crazy enough to shave their heads (if they cut their hair one more time). Though Bobbie did sit still long enough for Dahlia to cute her hair, I did feel bad about shaving her head. The spots of cut hair in the back was so short there was nothing to do but shave it to even it all out.
Dahlia got her hair shaved for doing the cutting. I calmly explained to the (and have reinforced since then) that if she wants hair she has to show that she can take care of it, by not cutting it. dahlia has said several times that she can't wait to have hair again, and she pinky promised (twice) not to cut it or sissy's hair again. We'll see!!
Well, that is us and our crazy January. Work is going well. It will be good to have my doctor back. with her gone on a month long cruise (with her husband, brother, and parents) the other nurse Chris, and I have been sharing the work week. So one of us gets 2 1/2 days and the other gets 2 days, then we trade for the next week. Will be nice to get back to working 5 days a week.
Gotta Run.
