1st Fishing Trip (Memorial Day Weekend 2008)Grandpa Jones teaching Dahlia and Bobbie how to reel in a fish. What I couldn't get a picture of was the girls taking turns being the fish. As a matter of fact they had so much fun being the fish that we had a hard time getting the to even hold the poles. We'll see how tomorrow goes!!
Bobbie loves to hold the pole. She is a little iffy when it comes to reeling anything in. But with some practice she'll do great!! Watch out fishies here we come.

Not exactly the fishies we were planning on catching, but it does look like Dahlia caught a big fish!!
Would you believe that the GRAND PLAN to have the girls help us catch these lovely worms failed? Well the girls conked out way too early so just Dad and I were out catching worms, with some 'help' from Ralph the cat. Ralph, who has never once even let me get near him, decided that he needed to be where ever our hands were rubbing up against us. Se he kept coming over and scaring the worms away. At one point I was floating an idea to use cat for bait instead of worms. Don't worry Mom, Dad wouldn't let me. Dad watered the lawn and at dusk we went out. I missed the electrocution attempt by Dad to shock the worms out of the ground. Sorry I missed that, I hear it was a shockingly funny show (hahahaha).
A fish, a fish, we caught a fish. Okay fine, Grandma Jones caught the fish, Dahlia & Bobbie 'helped' to reel it in, and then like the ladies we are, we waited for Grandpa Jones to come over and do the yucky stuff.
